Gina just won her first game of chess. It was her first game against me, and her second game ever.

I am pleased to be able to offer her this sense of accomplishment. She thinks I threw the game, but I honestly didn't. I am just that bad at strategy games.

Plus I've had no coffee today, as punishment for not going to work because of my painful, bloody sinuses.

But Cheryl brought me saline spray (thanks, sarah) and the sinuses feel much better. The head still pounds and the King still falls, though.

Gina is a master of strateeeegery.
