Linn and Oscar left this afternoon. Back to Sweden.
Cheryl is still here, though!
Tomorrow, my family is coming for the last Mint Manor Easter. The theme is A Midwestern Easter, featuring all of the classic Easter foods of Gina's childhood. My mom is bringing the Jello molds. There will be me and Gina and Kitana and Cheryl and my parents and Tante Joan and Kirsten. Animal-less foods for the Vegan, and low-carb for the Me. Before Linn left she helped us make party favours-- warshrags in the shape of Easter Bunnies. (Because they call washcloths "warshrags" in the Midwest.) Today I helped Tante Joan move into her new apartment in Brooklyn Heights. Man do I want to live in Brooklyn Heights. (Never happen. Might as well wish to live on Park Avenue.)
Also, SURPRISE!! The day before The Swedes here, a surprise visitor goil makes an appearance!!!!!!!!!! Just in time to say goodbye to Mint Manor! Forever.
Finally, guess who bought my dream dress. The betrayal. The betrayal. Why are you in Tavie's head? 7:41 PM | shower me with attention

The amazing folks at Fuzzy Mabel will, if I purchase and mail them the right yarn, have Cherry Tree Hill dye it for me in the colour I need to finish a certain sweater, for a very low price.
I know that probably doesn't sound exciting to you, but it's exciting to me. Why are you in Tavie's head? 9:03 PM | shower me with attention

You are 54% geek | You are a geek. Good for you! Considering the endless complexity of the universe, as well as whatever discipline you happen to be most interested in, you'll never be bored as long as you have a good book store, a net connection, and thousands of dollars worth of expensive equipment. Assuming you're a technical geek, you'll be able to afford it, too. If you're not a technical geek, you're geek enough to mate with a technical geek and thereby get the needed dough. Dating tip: Don't date a geek of the same persuasion as you. You'll constantly try to out-geek the other. | Take the Polygeek Quiz at Thudfactor.com Why are you in Tavie's head? 2:41 PM | shower me with attention

Well I was gonna start thinking about the topic for the paper that's due Monday, but then I heard that it turned from winter to summer weather overnight. How can I in good conscience MISS that?
I'm going to go laze around in the sun and not think about paper topics! Why are you in Tavie's head? 5:29 PM | shower me with attention

In a world of my choosing, I would be able to wear (and afford) dresses like this
In the actual world I live in, this is the kind of crap they try to make people like me wear.

Explain this question to me:
Rewrite the following Latin sentences in two different ways, by subordinating 1 of these into the other using a relative pronoun:
Tristes cûrae mihi sunt propter victôriam.
Victôria vîtam dûram etiam hîs victôribus faciunt.
In rewriting these two Latin sentences, you have no need to add any extra words. in each case, you will replace one linking word with a relative pronoun. (2 credits)
Er... huh? Am I making those two sentences into one sentence, twice, or am I making each of those sentences into two sentences? Why are you in Tavie's head? 6:18 PM | shower me with attention
The reason I'm existing now, of course, is because I am at Mint Manor for the duration of my Spring Break. I could never survive so long without high-speed internet. Light a candle for my iBook.
The Swedes are here until Saturday. Steph goes to Texas next weekend for a couple of days. That's the schedule of goil-presence for the week.
I've been sleeping days and doing all-night knitting, cauliflower-eating, Sex and the City-watching marathons of one while everyone is asleep. You would think there was a limit to the amount of bad fashion, cheesy dialogue and jutting hip bones I could subject myself to at a time, but you'd be wrong.
Also, I read a book that plunged me into the depths of melancholia. In a good way.
Homework tally: Latin is finished (except the last question, which I didn't understand.) Paper and topic proposal remain unconquered. Why are you in Tavie's head? 6:12 PM | shower me with attention
Three days to two weeks! Three days to two weeks! THREE DAYS TO TWO WEEKS!
My mom called and said she spoke to CompUSA, who has been sitting on my iBook for over a week. "Bad news," she said.
My heart stopped. "What? Don't say that. Just tell me. Just tell me. What?"
"Your iBook."
"Oh god oh god. WHAT?"
"CompUSA left a message. They have to send it back to Apple to get the logic board replaced."
"Oh man. They have to send it back to APPLE? WHY?"
"Well, and they said it's gonna take three days to two weeks."
"THREE DAYS TO TWO WEEKS? Why the fuck is it gonna take three days to two weeks? What kind of time frame is that? They've had it for over a week and they're just sending it now? OH MY GOD."
"That's what they said."
"Well did you yell at the guy?"
"I couldn't yell at him over voicemail. They said three days to two weeks. So that's the story."
"Oh my god. I'm dying. I need my computer. Give me, hey, give me the phone number of the place. In three days I'm gonna start calling every day until I get my computer back. Jesus Christ." Why are you in Tavie's head? 6:04 PM | shower me with attention

AOL's been screwing around with my mail lately. Either legitimate mail is moved to the spam folder, or it just doesn't come through at all.
If I don't email you back, that may be why. Why are you in Tavie's head? 2:17 PM | shower me with attention
