Dave's hosting the 2002 Directors Guild of Canada awards! Nominations have just been released, and the ceremony, honouring the accomplishments of Canadian film and television directors, is set to take place on October 5th in Toronto. According to the Guild, the awards will not be televised. But, who knows? Perhaps someone will take pity upon us Foley fans and think to correct this grievous mistake. (Or not.) "I am excited at the opportunity to help celebrate Canadian directors, both established and rising. But more than this, I am thrilled about the opportunity of schmoozing with that handful of commercially viable Canadian directors. I'll see you there with headshot in hand!"
