Steph M got me out this weekend, a very rare event. She took me and Cheryl to Arlene's Grocery to see a band called Moi who were very, very funny.

Steph P is here now spending the night; she was watching The Sopranos with Cheryl and is now upstairs watching Howard Stern with Gina. Although I don't have access to Sirius Satellite Radio outside of Gina's car, I have taken something of a renewed interest in Howard. I was a devotee of the radio show during those 4 years I was in a social/psychological coma (ahh, "the salad days") as a teenager but eventually grew unable to stomach the more depressing aspects of the show (specifically, the endless parade of bimbos who couldn't name the current vice president or know how to count past 10) but now that Howard's available as an On Demand option on our cable system it's fun to watch some of the show recaps with the goils.

But right now, they're watching some sad old lady (in her 80's I think) who's a porn star riding that mechanical vibrating machine and so I'm pretty sure I'll have nightmares tonight about sad old ladies.

Why do old people make me sad? That's so condescending to old people.
