quick update:

simon's echocardiogram came back okay. he has a "physiological" murmur meaning nothing is struturally wrong with his heart. he just occasionally has a large volume of blood being pushed through his heart at one time causing the sound. which means it's a go for surgery...they get their &$&(&% chopped off on the 14th. sad, kinda...simon and hecubus will be eunuchs.
