Leroy, the Christmas Tree, called out to me in the tree buying lot and he is now standing in the living room waiting to be decorated. Spike is a little toooo interested in him.

Turns out an off hand stupid remark from your boss can make you cry, too....by the time I had cried myself all the way home and got on line he had already sent an apology...doesn't help that I don't feel very good...sigh.

We are getting the Christmas tree tonight...

Funny what can set a person off...I've been trudging along, not getting upset, even when Tavie started crying at dinner when we were out last Saturday. I said something about my dad and she got sad because she had never met him. I told her to stop or I would get upset and I managed not to. We were in the midst of people arriving for cookie making, when I opened some cards that Cheryl had brought up from the mailbox. I thought they would be Christmas cards, one of them was. The others were a sympathy card from one of my cousin and card from the American Cancer Society that Steph M. had made a donation in my dad's name. I was fine for about five minutes and then I had to go upstairs, climb into bed and start crying. Cheryl came up to try and comfort me...she's a good person.
I heard more people arriving, so I got up, washed my face and came down, only to recieve more sympathy from wonderful people...it was hard not to start again.
The day turned out to be a lot of fun and lots of good cookies were made.
Now I am upstairs, watching my boys play football against the Chargers.
    I am beat.
