I never thought I would see this country travel so far back in my lifetime. I have always been a big believer that this Country was better then most cause no matter what is going on we at least have the right to Free Speech and Freedom of the Press. Seems like that is not the truth anymore and I could not be more ashamed. I know that we have always had problems, but I really believed that there was nothing that could not be turned around.
Some State Representative told CNN yesterday that a vote against Bush was a vote for Bin Laden. When the newsperson then asked if that meant we should not hold an election the response was that we should but that we should only vote for Bush.
Whaaaaaa????? So for our own good we should be sheep and blindly re-elect a mad man cause only he can protect us from Bin Laden?
I'm scared and I am not kidding. I lay awake worrying about what the future is going to hold for all the young ones that I love.
