25 more minutes and I will be 40 years old! The gang at work through me a very nice party with a Sponge Bob motiff. I was very very pleased.

Today Spike left me a big pile of kitty barf in the kitchen. I know it is him. He is the frat cat after all. Little bastard...then he has to be all cute and cuddly and tucking his little head under my chin while snoring his little frat cat snore.

My life is so exciting that I can hardly keep my eyes open.

Tomorrow there is going to be a shindig at work in honor of my 40th. As a present, my body decided to make me wonder if I am already getting ready for "the Change". Two weeks and it's already miserable cramps and such? Where is Dave to comfort me? He has a good attitude towards such things...

For awhile my house smelled so good. Love the smell of a summer rain, but, now someone is smoking close by and it is drifting right in the window...bastards!

My head hurts...I should not be sitting here staring at my computer. I am pumped up on caffiene and pretty bored so what am I to do.

Came home to a house with yarn twisted and turned about the table, chairs and futons and a ball of yarn sitting in a pot on the stove....were the cats trying to decorate the house for an early party and were they planning on serving warmed up yarn or are they just naughty evil bastards who jumped from the stove to the top of the fridge in order to make a mess?

I'm thinking it's the mess part.

I said I wasn't going to concern myself with anything outside my own job, and yet I felt compelled to let the O.P Manager know something that I had been told about the night shift. Nothing big, just something that shouldn't happen. Instead of a simple 'okay, I'll look into it.' I got the fucking third degree. How do you know? Who told you? Why do you know? Are you sure? WHO saw it? and so on and so on. I answered him until I finally said, "Ya know...either listen to what I said or don't, cause I am just an idiot." Then I went back to my office to rant at myself for being so fucking stupid and it ruined my entire day.

After having lunch with Tavie, erin and Sarah, I spent the rest of the day and early evening hanging with Miss Kirsten. The other three headed off for some reading thing with people that I know nothing about and I was lucky enough to wander Chinatown with Kirsten (after a quick girly drink at the Cabana). The girl knows her way in and around that part of town like she lives there. It was a great way to spend time, the place is so alive and teaming with people. It's fun looking at all the tchotchkes and strange food stuffs. I think the others would have enjoyed it very much too.

I'm glad that Sarah is here for a visit. I haven't had a chance to spend much time with her outside of KITHy tour stuff and even though this visit did include that fabulous night of Scott Worship (can I get an AMEN!) it's fun being able to sit around the manor just chatting.
