    My day:
Spent the early morning dealing with some very unpleasant personnel problems, which included me having to ask my assistant and our sales man(he was just visiting) to leave my office so I could shut the door and do evil H.R. things...also sat around worrying about my bosses wife who had surgery early this morning. Just after I got word that she was fine, one of my co-workers called me and said she had just spoke to a nurse who told her to get to the emergancy room right now, cause it sounded like she had had a mini stroke. I drove her to the hospital and waited with her and was allowed in while the nurse was checking her. I started answering the nurse after Evelyn lied about how long she had felt sick. The nurse then kept looking at me to confirm if she was being told the truth or not. Then off we went to the exam room and the Doctor asked her the questions and I broke in when I felt truth was being held back. He then asked how long she had felt like she did. She turned and looked at me like a child that has been very bad and told the dr. that it had been over a year!!!!! OVER A YEAR!!!!! Well....you can imagine the look on my face. The dr said to me, "You had no clue did you?" She had not been to the doctor in 25 years. I chose a doctor for her yesterday and was going to make an appointment for today when this happened. I told the doctor the name of the doctor that I had chosen, he approved. We basically started talking like I was the mommy of a child that needed care. He told me I could leave and come back after they had done some test.
I drove back to work and saw that the road by my office was blocked off by the cops and I could see big billows of smoke. Shit. I got threw to check points and at the third, just yards from the drive way, the last cop would not let me through. There was a huge brush fire and the wind was blowing it towards my work. I had to wait for almost two hours with one of my most hated coworkers until I could stand it no more and decided to go home, pee and call the hospital and see what was up. I tried for over 20 min to get through, and finally, Evelyn called on my cell phone, while I was on hold. She said she was leaving, cause she was tired of it all and that she was walking home. I threw a fit and said I 'd be right there. She left before they could finish testing her. She is so bad. She has been having mini strokes. It took me an hour to get back to work(they were letting people through) she made me take her back with me. I didn't want her more upset. By the time we left work the fire had started again and the road was blocked off. I hope my building doesn't burn down tonight. I am tired, I spent over three hours driving in heavy traffic in a less then 3 mile radius.
    I'm not checking for mistakes.
