This has been the strangest week for me. Alternating feelings of fear, despair and absolute happiness.
Fear and despair over my father, who is doing so very well now. They caught all the cancer and he only has to have 6 months of mild Chemo. I don't even want to talk about the efffect of all this on me. I'm just so very happy and relieved that he's going to recover from this.
Happiness because of the wonderful time spent with Kitana, Cheryl, Tavie, Erica, Matt and Goose...seeing Hedwig with all of them...I can't even put in to the words how wonderful that was, all my worries lost in this movie. Enjoying the companionship of all those brilliant, funny, loving people. I love them all.
Then laying around the house with Kitana, Cheryl and Tavie, playing Scrabble (and winning again!!!) and BBQing.
Eating at a fabulous resteraunt in the Village with Kitana and Tavie.
Having Kitana here for an entire week.
Eating at a diner with Tavie, Kitana, Matt and Goose tonight, and then sending them off to a too-hip-for-me concert.
    I'm so lucky.

I was talking to my Dad on the phone and when we were saying goodbye he sadi, "Loves ya!"
Wow! That is the first time that my dad said it first! My Dad has never voluntarily said that my whole life...I know that he loves me, he is really good at letting you know it without having to actually say it..such a nice shock...

He may get to go home soon...hope so, he's very bored.
