Kirsten and I went to Epcot last night and she bought me this immediately, for I loved it so. I wore it all day today.

Today took a long time to start. It was like those recurring dreams I have where we go to Disney World and I never actually get to go anywhere because we never make it out of the hotel room. I wanted to stay with Kirsten until she felt ready to go out on the electric wheelchair we rented. I will admit that it got hard after a couple of hours, but we finally got to the Magic Kingdom and although it was freezing and more crowded than I've seen it in over a decade, fun was had.

We had dinner at the Polynesian - not Ohana, but the other restaurant there, currently called something like Kona Kafe. I had a tropical beverage and then announced I was off to redeem my Fastpass for Space Mountain, which I secured at 2:30 pm and could not redeem until 9:30. (It was THAT crowded.) At this point, everyone in my family was either (a) too old or (b) too ill to come with me, so I went alone.

I discovered that alone I can redeem two Fastpasses straight in a row, skip ahead of a lot of people in lines to fill up a spaceship with one empty seat - or a runaway railroad car with one extra seat - I can weave through crowds quickly, shop at my leisure, and I can go on attractions that no one else can be bothered with. (It was a Small Country Bear World Jambaroo after all!) I can also stay out until the park closes and then creep back into the hotel room and find 4 people snoring in the dark.
