I failed in my job as navigator this morning when I conked out in the car for the last 2 hours of our trip up to Gardiner, Maine to visit Rynn. I'm a very poor navigator, anyway.

It's everything I need here: clear skies, trees and way more stars in the sky than I usually get to see. We spent some time in a town called Hallowell, which has a lovely used bookstore, at which I bought a conservative 3 books. (I could have gone much more.)

The best is spending time with Rynn again. It's been almost 7 years but we picked right up.
