Tonight we're making pot roast, mashed cauliflower, peas, yorkshire pudding and (low-fat, in an ironic twist) banana pudding. Tomorrow Weight Watchers. Again. I'm gonna try doing Core this time, at least at first. There are two types of Weight Watchers plans; the more popular one is Flex, which is the one where you weigh and measure everything and count the "points" and can't exceed a certain amount of points per day, but can eat just about anything as long as it fits in your daily points allotment. (You also get 35 extra points a week to divvy up as needed/desired.) Core is where you get a list of foods and that's all you can eat but you don't have to measure them. (I think there are some guidelines to this - I know, for example, you can only have 1 meal a day containing brown rice, whole-wheat pasta or potatoes. But there must be more rules - surely you can't just eat eggs and Canadian bacon all day until you feel full. So I gotta learn more about that.) Anyway, you still get the 35 extra points to eat whatever, too, which is weird but OK... Bleh. I hate thinking about food. I'm gonna go think about celebrities. |
