I'm now going to present a brief guide to the Stephanies in my life, as I know many people display confusion.

There are three primary Stephs. I could list them any number of ways - in order of duration known, or alphabetical order by last name, say, but I'm going to go with physical proximity:

Other traits: Loves metal music; former (and occasional) Goth; is Evil; the one I knitted the skull scarf for; the one obsessed with her birthday, true crime, beer and the San Antonio Spurs; hates Disney and the word "moist"; "The Mexican One"

Name: Stephanie Apell
A.K.A.: Steph, Steph A., Apell (only when necessary to distinguish her), Stephanie Marie (by her mother), Little Steph/Stephie (only my dad calls her that)
Occupation: Client Services Rep
Hometown: Brooklyn, NY
Residence: Staten Island, NY
How We Met: First grade classmates/day camp summer before first grade
When We Met: 1985 (Leif Ericson Day School)
Distinguishing physical feature: She's an Amazon.
Favorite celebrities: Keanu Reeves, Ronald Reagan, Aloysius Pendergast
Other traits: Practically a sister, our families are close and we vacation together; Republican; History major in college; went to school in Tennessee; has worked for the same company as me since 2005; loves such classic films as George of the Jungle and Ghost Dad.

A.K.A.: Steph M., Myers

When We Met: Online, around 1999; in person, 2000; shared apartment with Gina, my heterosexual life partner in 2004.
Distinguishing physical feature: Pale and tragic
Favorite celebrities: Tim Curry, David Bowie, Jim Dale
Other traits: Went to school with Pena; my primary music educator, she makes me mix CDs and teaches me basic things like why I should love T-Rex; has rat terrier named Adrian (a.k.a. "Puppy") who's incredibly neurotic, yet strangely lovable, and is my best dog friend; she goes to the same YMCA as my aunt; she's very wry.

To complicate matters, there are also some secondary and tertiary Stephanies in my life, including:

Steph Apell's mother (also named Stephanie Apell)
Toronto Steph, an old online friend I never hear from anymore
Stephanie Jackson, who I went to junior high with
A host of non-Apell Stephanies at work (including another Stephanie in client services)

To sum, I am quote over my Stephanie quota, so if you're a Stephanie, you can be placed on the waiting list, but I'm afraid we won't have any openings for quite awhile.
