The scientific term for the way I stretch out all of my left shoes by walking on the side of my left foot is called oversupination. Shoe wear caused by improper gait due to oversupination can be caused by limb length discrepency or bone deformity present at birth. Clues to this condition can be found by examining shoe wear patterns. Or not, whatever, who wants to help me measure my legs? Why see a doctor when I can self-diagnose over the internet at 4 a.m. on a Sunday morning? (A symptom of my self-diagnosed Delayed Sleep Phase Syndrome, which I indulge on weekends, to my detriment.) I am not a hypochondriac, just look at my shoes. |
