It was pure luck. My friend Robert sent me a new song of his from his upcoming album and on Friday it came onto my iPod on random, and I heard it and thought, "I wonder when the album is coming out." So I went to his website to find out and ended up on the "tour dates" page, and thought, "I wonder if he'll play New York", and lo and behold, he was playing New York the following MONDAY (today!) so I told my goils and we're going to see him at Joe's Pub tonight!
