So, I saw The Gates. What a colossal waste of time, money and materials. I don't just think it's ugly; I'm actively annoyed that everyone is referring to the colour of this eyesore as "saffron", when it is clearly orange. Saffron is not orange.

Anyway, my mistake in forgetting that people are flocking to see this crap all around my favourite museum, to which Kirsten and I managed to coax Yoda from his cave. We'd arranged to meet him in "the lobby"-- no more specific than that, mea culpa-- which was packed more tightly than I'd ever seen it before with spillover from Gates-gapers. We did manage to find each other, however, and we took him on our rather haphazard standard tour. (Did they move William? I couldn't see him anywhere, and I think they took down some duck porn, too.)

I hope Yoda had fun. He's hard to read.

On the way home we stopped at H&M and I bought two skirts, because apparently it's okay for me to spend all my money willy-nilly. (Well, they were extremely cheap, though. And I need new clothes, like I've said before.)
