had to post on my birthday. it was pretty good. i received a vegan pie (pumpkin) from my coworkers on Monday, my sister barb bought me some stuff at Whole Foods while we were there today and my "official" birthday party is tomorrow after thanksgiving dinner. i like this...my birthday SHOULD be a festival spanning several days! now i'm just waiting for a phone call (or something) from a certain guy who knows it's my birthday :::taps foot impatiently::: : )

i'm trying to get used to giving myself props but it's still somewhat uncomfortable. here goes...i've passed the 40-pound weight loss mark. i plateaued for a while but i've broken through. yay, me :::pats self on back::: what makes it easier is the comments i get from people at work. and i think i've finally broken the "my shirt has to cover my ass" rut i was in for what felt like years.
