The House Party for John Kerry was fun. Met alot of nice people and had a nice long conversation with a few of them. I hope that the money raising part went well. Everyone seemed to be whipping out their checkbooks.
One of the couples that I spent most of the time talking to were wondering how many people were "Anyone but Bush" people but had been afraid to bring it up until I said something about my involvement started with Dean. They are ABB people themselves. I told them that a least four people in the group were Dean people first and they were glad to hear that people had not lost their spirit. We talked alot aboutFahrenhei 911t which quite a few of us had seen. It was very interesting. There were also alot of funny stories about the local politics of our town and how almost every past mayor has gone to jail. They also talked about how people who lived here awhile back can not believe how this place has changed.
Oh! I also founs out hte owner ofthis building just got in trouble for giving money to somebody he should not have.
