Summery things I have done this summer:

1. Watched fireworks.
2. Walked around in sandals.
3. Eaten barbecue in the backyard.
4. Sweated.
5. Made lemonade.

Summery things I have not done this summer:

1. Gone to the beach.
2. Swam.
3. Gone to The Park. (Central.)
4. Lain around in the sun. (Properly sunblocked, don't nag me please.)
5. Walked down a New York City street eating watermelon and spitting the seeds into the gutter. (A personal tradition.)

So I'm half-and-half. But the summer's more'n half done. Summer, where are you going? Come back, Summer! We have not made sweet Summer love yet, you and I! What do you mean, it's not your fault that I spend all night watching tv and sleep until the very last possible second and then get up and go to class until it's nighttime? What do you mean, I'm squandering you away and it's my own damn fault?

You're mean, Summer! I'm not talking to you anymore!
