Oh, Inca has discovered the joy of the belly rub. He's so cute you want to eat him, that one. He's my cuddle-monkey. Purrs like mad whenever I pick him up.

Girlcat is a bit of a nut, though. Despite my best efforts to the contrary, she has decided that hands are toys and must be swiped at with paw or mouth. I hope she'll grow out of this as I don't encourage even playful biting/scratching behaviour in cats. That's the one perhaps unrealistic standard I maintain, based on the fact that Lily and Rosie (most perfect of all cats ever in the world) never, ever bit or scratched. But Maya is just a baby, after all. And she lets me kiss her nose whenever I want. In fact, she initiates it. She sticks her nose right on my lip.

They can both jump up and down from Kirsten's bunk with ease now.

But I still had to sleep on the couch last night. I can't wait until they're ready to be outside our room all the time, so I can shut them out at night and sleep in my own bed again. I'm getting tired of the couch.
