Let the angry geeks come forth.
Humour is lost on some people. I love how they focus on my light-hearted observations and completely miss the fact that I adored the movie, and admitted that I was being silly.
This is why I'm not sharing my interpretation of the movie with my father. He'll be horrified to his very being-- his bible, defiled by my perversion! His own daughter, the blasphemer!
