The idea to adapt the shrine for Mark McKinney is not a new one, and the impetus to actually create the damn thing comes from several people-- specifically, Tavie's friends, Kitana and Gina. This site should rightfully be called "Gina and Kitana and Tavie's Online Shrine to Mark McKinney".
