Small world Blair cookies

Because of my sister's illness we're taking it slow. She's going around in an electric wheelchair, which is the closest we can offer her to bedrest. She seems better. I'm taking good care of her.

We're staying at the newest Vacation Club resort, Bay Lake Towers, which is an offshoot of the iconic Contemporary Resort - that's the one shaped like an "A" located right next to the Magic Kingdom, for those of you not On Property. (And the Disney Vacation Club is the timeshare that we've been members of since 1992. They have annexes in many of the Disney resorts, with private pools and lounges and privileges for DVC members. It's nice.)

The Bay Lake Towers is groovy. Contempo-style (which is still vaguely 80's-feeling - retro-futuritic) and the rooms are a little smaller than other DVC studios, but they're cute. I like. The best thing is the members-only lounge on the 16th floor, which has a spectacular view of the fireworks over the Magic Kingdom without the crowds you'll see at the California Grill. TJ joined us later (she just arrived) so it was only the four of us for today and it's definitely odd to spend quality time with the core-four Phillipses. We're an immature bunch, but when we settle down with drinks to watch fireworks, or snuggle up in our hotel room to watch The Jungle Book, and people stop being bickering infants for five minutes at a time - it's downright nice.
