My Christmas traditions have evolved over time. There are some standbys - always a tree, always presents for my family, always singing carols incessantly until I get a smack from whoever's closest, always taking my "Window Walk" down 5th Avenue. But I've also added some relatively new ones in the past few years, which include:

  • Watching Elf
  • Having cards printed up from my Flickr photos of the previous Christmas
  • Bringing most of my homemade Colonial Williamsburg iced gingerbread into work to give away to my coworkers
  • Participating in NY Cares' "Winter Wishes" program to buy gifts for a shelter kid or teen
  • TANGERINES!

    What are your personal traditions?
