My reward
Originally uploaded by Tavie
Having fun with Dad and Kirsten. Last night, Dad and I had dinner at the diner downstairs and watching Snow White and the Seven Dwarves.

Today we had our feast and I'm really proud of myself because I did most of the cooking, including the turkey, which came out tastier and juicier than any turkey I can remember. (Sorry, Mom, I think you must overcook it.) From the roasted fingerlings to the low-cal pie (Splenda, Egg Beaters and skim milk in place of the usual makes for a really delicious dessert at less than half the calories of regular pumpkin pie) - it was a raving success, I have to say. Now we're snuggled on the couch all watching The Fellowship of the Ring. Because, you know, it's my family, and that's what we do.
