I can't stop thinking about that dinner last night with my sis. So perfect, the conversation. So salty and greasy and satisfying, the food. Greenwich Village still has the ghosts of unpleasant associations, but it was such a part of my childhood circa 20 years ago. I'm glad places like Charlie Mom - old-school, white tablecloth and cloth napkins, waiters in ties and bowls of crispy noodles on the table - I'm glad they still exist.
