Steph and me at a Mets game!

Well, yesterday I won Mets tickets, so I took Steph with me to the new stadium. It was my second baseball game ever. My first was in 1989 or so, at the old Shea stadium, Mets vs Dodgers. I don't remember anything about it except I got a whistle.

This one was hella fun. Steph had to explain every little thing to me, but it wasn't that hard to follow. Although I still don't understand how everyone can tell whether it's a ball or a strike or a foul or a regular old yay-you-hit-the-ball-where-it's-supposed-to-go! kinda thing.

The most amusing part was the Wave. Everyone got so fucking excited, like we had all done something completely brilliant that no one had ever thought of before.
