Stalking her prey
Originally uploaded by Tavie
Gina and I went to Home Depot in search of possible ways to contain the turtle out on the deck so he wouldn't wander out the drainage gaps and fall to his death. We stumbled upon this wire shelving, which they cut down to size for us. Gina had the brilliantly simple idea of using zip ties to hold the sides together. Easy to assemble and disassemble, it works like a charm to keep the little dinosaur contained but still give him enough space to enjoy the sunlight and fresh air. The entire household spent many hours on the deck today, enjoying the summery weather.

Progo spent the entire time sticking his little head through each of the bars, round and round and round and round, trying his best to escape his prison.
