My baby brother likes to make a spectacle of himself. Case in point: the umbrella with the bright blue light sabre for a handle. Walking around the Upper West Side - under a clear night sky - holding this umbrella proudly over his head. That's my boy.

A motley crew of us went to see my sister peform with her dance troupe at Columbia U today. It was like a "This is Your Life" sort of reunion. Camille, Myers, Carl, Apell, Andrew. The evening ended with Camille, Apell, Andrew and I at the Hungarian pastry shop, engaging in an hours-long 1920's-Parisian-Salon-style discussion, with cream puffs and lattes instead of absinthe, and reminisences about 80's cartoons instead of poetry and philsophy.
