It's almost Throgsgrafen. This is the first one in years that my whole family lives in the country, and the first one in years that I'll enjoy with my entire family sitting down at the table together. (The last one was buffet-style in Japan, in 2005.)

Unfortunately, there's some personal drama going on between me and my sister, so it's also the first Thanksgiving that I'm sort of dreading.

Nevertheless, I am hungry for turkey. So I cross my fingers and hope for happy, peaceful family togetherness and yummy food at my aunt's apartment in Brooklyn Heights tomorrow.
