Threads like this really bum me out.

I understand the concept that public figures must expect a degree of gossip and speculation about their private lives. That is the way the world works, and I've certainly indulged in my own gossip/speculation about celebrities. But when I happen to know the celebrity in question, it gets a little difficult to read things like "he ditched this one, he ditched that one, what do you expect?"

No one knows what really goes on between a husband and wife but the two of them.

Dave is a wonderful human being who deserves happiness. Crissy is a wonderful human being who deserves happiness. I love them both and I can't help but feel a little protective when the gossip starts flying.
