My dear erin has been visiting this past week or so. She's in Portland most of the time. I like it when she's here.

I celebrated New Year's Eve with the family, waiting to take Kirsten to the airport at 3:30 am for her 6 am flight. I spent most of New Year's Day asleep at my parents' apartment.

A few nights ago, though, we played pool. There's a "club room" in my building that we'd never taken advantage of before, and it has a pool table. Gina and Moose and Squirrel showed me how to play. I'm very awkward at it, but I did get some of the balls into the pockets.
