I feel I ought to blog. I'm not sure why, or what about. There's nothing much new to report. What is there?

The weather: It's cold out, but it hasn't snowed.

Work: Very busy, leaves me tired and frustrated most days. Some better than others.

Friends: The wedding invitation for my friends Francis & Adrienne arrived. I wish I could go. It's in March, though, and I won't have enough time/'flow to go (I had to turn down a trip to Japan to visit my sister, too.)

Home: The same.

Glasses: Still weird, getting more used to them. My eyes take awhile to focus right after I take them off and I feel a little disoriented sometimes. They're not for walking around in. So I have to sort of rip them off my face every time I need to stand up/get away from the computer/put down the book. It's hard to get used to. I also can't easily rest them on my head, as convenient as that might be, because more often than not, they'll pull at my hair when I try to put them back on. I wear a ponytail most days and if one long bit comes loose it's just a wreck. But I'm also not ready for a granny chain. What to do, what to do.

That's it. I'm boring. Leave me alone.
