I just had the pants scared off of me. We had all just retired to our rooms for the night when Gina came banging on our doors. I found her and Peņa gaping out of the window. My heart stopped a second when I saw the blazing inferno that was once 77 Hudson, a condo-to-be that I pass every day on my walk home from the PATH. The entire top of it was in flames. I had a serious 9/11 flashback, my throat went dry. Thank god, I don't think anyone could have been up there at this time of night.

We went downstairs to gawk at it with our neighbors. That's some seriously scary shit.

(Early news report here.)

Gina just got called out as a Red Cross volunteer to help the people from surrounding buildings who are being evacuated. They say they're evacuating everyone within a 2-block radius. We're just out of range.
