I felt it turn to winter last night. My room is typically 20 degrees colder than the rest of the apartment, and last night I suddenly realized that my toes and nose and fingers were frozen and I had to go out and get another comforter to throw on.

Weather.com says it's 39 degrees in Jersey City and feels like 31. It fees like it in my room.

I let Spike into my room and he's acting up, trying to get into my closet and, failing that, trying to claw my robes off of my closet door and whining like a little baby because his Mama isn't here.
