Guy at work today asked me when was the last time I went to the gym. (Back when I was going to the gym sometimes we would talk about the gym.) I said. "Clearly I haven't been awhile" and he nodded and said, "Clearly."

While I'm sure he meant no harm (he was trying to make friendly conversation), I do not need to be reminded of the 20 pounds I've gained since Christmas. I am quite good at reminding myself of that every moment of the day. So, please, if you happen to notice that I am an even bigger, fatter blob than I was six months ago, you don't have to remind me of it. I'm aware.

Honest.
