I'm going on a Mother-Daughter cruise. erin says that's code for a Gay Cruise, but this is actually just a cruise that my mother is paying for and taking me on and no one else is going. (Sorry, Dad.)

It's because work is stressing me out and a couple months ago I idly mentioned to my mom that I desired to swim in the ocean. Mom being an amateur travel agent, she immediately found a cheap cruise to the Bahamas for which she offered to pay. I haven't been on a cruise since I was 18 and we all did the Disney one. I also haven't been on a cruise since I saw both Poseidon (starring Russell Swayze) and The Poseidon Adventure (starring Shelley Winters) and thus I am fairly certain that although this is my fourth cruise, this will be the one during which the ship capsizes. Que sera sera.

Not bringing my computer with me because I am thoroughly bored with the internet, and anyway I don't know how many wireless networks I'll be able to crib in the middle of the ocean.

Back Tuesday.
