There's not enough light beer in the world to make me drunk enough to sing karaoke. There's not enough concealer in the world to cover my dark circles. There's not enough hours left in the night for me to be well-rested tomorrow. There's not enough random categories for me to alphabetize in an attempt to fall asleep.

But let's not focus on the things we don't have. Today I watched four or five episodes of The Muppet Show in a row I have got to try that with... with popcorn. Those folks were smoking something very strong and very often. It's funny that I wasn't more scared of the Muppets as a kid, now that I see how goshdarn psychedelic those sketches were. I couldn't handle Yellow Submarine but I ate that stuff up. But then, some of them were just sweet, like Ben Vereen singing "Pure Imagination" or Sandy Duncan telling Sweetums that he's beautiful or that whole sketch of Rowlf just playing the piano. That was the whole concept: Rowlf will play a beautiful classical piece on the piano.

It's conceptual, man.

Things that didn't scare me as a child that do scare and/or depress me now include: the anime series of The Little Prince; that Raggedy Ann movie; Faaaaaaaaaat Albert!

This is not a good note to end on, so: baby gorills dreams, everybody. Enzo, my sweet baby gorilla. How do you say gorilla in Swedish?
