Steph'm and I went to see Laurie Anderson at BAM tonight. She was magnificent. I heard and saw many wondrous, beautiful things. The best was the teeny-tiny camera she hooked to her violin bow so we could go zooming toward her face, and away, and toward it, and away.

She has a very trance-inducing voice, though. I always listen to her when I'm trying to fall asleep. I'd sort of forgotten that, and the sleep debt thing. I didn't fall asleep during the show, but I was in a trance-like state throughout most of the performance.

It was relaxing.
