My clothes have been baggy for awhile, but today they were officially Too Big To Wear. Specifically, I had to walk around all day clutching my swishy black work pants (distinct from my non-swishy black work pants) to keep them from falling down every time I stood up.

Yeah, man.

Yeah.

Tomorrow: 6:30 p.m. flight to Amsterdam with Mater. We've been snippy; let us pray we shall not kill one another.

I am bringing a single tote bag, and just my purse as carry-on. I shudder to think of how my mom's overpacked. I'll find out tomorrow, I guess. I hope she realizes that I'm not a workhorse, like my dad, and won't be carrying her things for her. That's why I packed light. I like to be hands-free.

I swiped borrowed High Fidelity from the reading room at work and am hesitantly bringing The Talented Mr Ripley as backup reading. I'm not thrilled with either choice, but HF seems pretty engaging so far. I hate to go on a trip with so little in the reading department, and no crossword puzzles, either. That's why I'm bringing the Benadryl: ZZZZZZZZZZZ...
