Tante Joan came over to The Penthouse yesterday with her traditional giant pitcher of sangria, and we grilled weenies on the balcony and burgers down in the communal picnic area, where everyone gathered at night to watch the fireworks. The view was spectacular:



We ate so much watermelon we wuz fit to bust. I made my creamy low-carb slaw and sugar-free lemonade, and ended up eating carby treats anyway. (Yesterday didn't happen, calorie-and-carb-wise.) Some of us got happily drunk far into the night, while others watched 1776 (others mainly being me), Steph and Adrian retiring early to get away from the noise.
