Cheryl finally graced the Manor with a visit this weekend, bringing her charming friend (and Buffy-fan) Kristen. Cheryl's hair is back to funky goth colours. It's a beautiful sight to see. And she wore the scarf I gave her last Christmas, AND gave me the best reaction to the fuzzyfeet I gave her. It makes me want to knit more things for her. It's all in the reaction. If you get all squealy and excited, like Cheryl did, or my dad did when I gave him the gloves (wait, he didn't squeal... did he? Hum.) then I want to knit more for you.

That's sort of the crappy thing about knitting for babies. No appreciation. I'm making a layette set for my friend Amanda, who's due in April (the last three pregnant women I knew all were due in April). They don't know the sex of the baby yet, and I had all this yellow yarn, but the pattern I found is really sort of girly. Is it wrong for me to hope they have a girl so it matches the clothes I'm knitting?

Oh, well.

This caffeine withdrawal thing is a fucking bitch. I did not taper off properly this time. Bad, headache-y me.
