So, hey, hey. Today I got laid off. It was kind of sudden, but not entirely out of left-field. I'd had less and less to do lately (hence all the blogging during the day, dig), and today my boss told me that they have to cut all the part-timers. She sounded really sorry about it. She kept saying how it wasn't a reflection of my work, there was just not enough for me to do. She sounded so sorry, I actually thanked her.

So I guess I have to start looking again. But I'm sort of looking forward to sleeping in for awhile. The insomnia is really getting to me. It will be so nice to indulge in my natural sleep patterns for awhile, instead of the nightly struggle. And those 12-hour days were killin' me. But I do need me some money.

I'm not broken up about it, although I'm disappointed because I liked it there. They're good people and it's a nice company to work for. And I'm certainly not looking forward to the whole job-search thing, because I'd rather have a skin fungus than go to a job interview. (And hey, if this humid weather keeps up, maybe I can have both....)
