Today I had lunch with Cayenne, my only friend from Bronx Science that remained my friend after we left. I hadn't seen her in about five years but we fell back into old patterns. She's lived an interesting life since last we met. So have I, come to think of it. We met in Chinatown, making it the third night running that I've eaten Chinese food, urp.

At Mint Manor now with sis and erin. Tomorrow Kirsten's making sukiyaki.

Please no more Asian cuisine.

Oh, Flower Drum Song was better than I expected but not too great. The main problem was the Rodgers and Hammerstein score, which was just boring, in my opinion. But Lea Salonga was good and everything. One of the roles was played by the lady who played Margaret Cho's mother on All American Girl, and I kept wanting her to say, "MORAAAAAAAAAAAAAN". But she didn't. Pity, that.

I had an apple martini at Ruby Foo's with my mom and the guy didn't even card me. And I was all looking forward to using my new I.D. and everything. I guess I look old now.
