I dreamed that I went back in time six years and told 11-year-old Goose all about her future.

("Do you want to know what college you'll be going to?" "No... yes! No... yes! Tell me!" "Yale!")

Then I broke a favourite clock of her mother's and was politely asked to vacate the premises. On my way out, Goose bet me a plate of cinnamon toast that I wouldn't be able to find a replacement clock. "I don't eat toast," I told the youngster, "but I'll bet you the cinnamon sticks that you're right."
