Today is Andrew's 18th birthday. But, no! But, he was just in his crib. In his blue footie pajamas. In the yellow room in the house in Brooklyn. Soft brown baby-hair and fuzzy blue baby-feet in room full of admirers and confused little playmates-to-be. How is he 18 now? I could swear I just saw him for the first time in his crib, honestly. Now he's this wonderful college man with a darling, beautiful girlfriend and a highly developed aesthetic sense. It's puzzling, this life thing.
