Today someone thought I was hot. That never happens. It was a momentous occasion. It took place in Astor Place outside the Starbucks. (Not that Starbucks, the other Starbucks.) A girl came up to me and said her friend thinks I'm hot. I looked around for the video cameras but there were none. I said "Is this a joke?" and she said no, her friend thought I was hot. He saw my skirt and then saw my face and said "Wow, she's hot."

Therefore, it's a magic skirt.

I said wow, that never happens, tell him thank you. She said to tell him myself. He came over. We shuffled. She said, "I'll make it easy, this is Sage, and this is, what's your name?" "Tavie" "This is Tavie."

The boy's name is Sage. He's from Guyana. The girl's name is Dana. She liked my hair. They were impressed by its length. (Right on baby.) Sage seemed shy and therefore I was fairly convinced that they were not making fun of me. Which was very nice indeed. He works at the sock shop at St. Mark's.

That was a nice experience. Me, hot. A real live person thought so.
